Lubricant manufacturers analyze common types of lubricants for you

2025-04-17

Lubricants cover a wide range of areas, and the requirements of each country are different. For us, there are a total of 7 companies that have passed the API standard, and even fewer companies that have passed the automobile manufacturer's oil testing standard. Countries and companies around the world formulate automotive oil specifications mainly to ensure that the oil products produced by lubricant manufacturers can guarantee the use requirements of automobiles. Therefore, when consumers buy lubricants, they must check whether the manufacturer has been certified by the above authoritative organizations. The more authoritative departments for identifying lubricants internationally include API (American Petroleum Institute), ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association), ILSAC (International Lubricant Standards and Certification Committee), and JASO (Japan Automotive Standards Organization, which is composed of the Japanese branch of SAE (American Society of Automotive Engineers)).

1. Internal combustion engine oil (L-E) generally has the API logo. It is mainly sold in the United States. According to the API automotive oil standard, it can be divided into two categories:
One is commercial oil (Commercial Oil), such as the oil used in medium and large trucks, buses, engineering vehicles, etc. Most of these vehicles use diesel as fuel, represented by the letter C. For example: CA, CB, CC, CD, CE, CF, CG, CH, CI.
The second is the engine oil sold at general gas stations (Service Stations), which are usually used in cars and small vehicles with gasoline engines (excluding two-stroke motorcycles), represented by the letter S. For example: SA, SB, SC, SD, SE, SF, SG, SH, SI, SJ, SL, SM, SN. (Note: S stands for Gasoline Engine Oil, and C stands for diesel engine oil. The second English letter represents the grade, and the higher the grade, the higher the grade. For example, SB is higher than SA, and SC is higher than SB.)

2. The lubricating oil used to lubricate gear transmission devices including worm gear pairs is called Gear Oil (L-C). According to GB 7631.7-89, gear oil is divided into industrial closed gear oil, industrial open gear oil, and vehicle gear oil.

3. The working medium used in the fluid static pressure (hydraulic transmission) system is called hydraulic oil, while the working medium used in the fluid dynamic pressure (hydraulic transmission) system is called Hydraulic Transmission Oil. The two are usually collectively referred to as hydraulic oil (L-H). Compared with engine oil, hydraulic oil has good anti-emulsification, anti-wear, hydrolysis stability, filterability, anti-foaming and air release properties in addition to the basic properties of engine oil.

4. Other oils.

Our company's lubricant brand has passed various national tests and produces high-quality oil. If you need it, please contact us. Bulk purchases are more favorable.
